Tears for Aaron Carter continued on Sunday as the Backstreet Boys paid tribute to the late “I Want Candy” singer during a live performance in London with brother Nick Carter.

As Richardson instructs the audience about Aaron’s death, his fellow bandmates embrace an emotional Nick Carter in a swoon. Aaron Carter was found dead in his bathtub at his Lancaster residence on Saturday. He was 34 years old.
Richardson instructed followers, “He is a part of our family and we thank you all for your love, your well wishes and all your support,” while Carter, 42, stepped onto the stage side. After Richardson completed his tribute, bandmate Howie Dorough instructed the audience that the next musical was dedicated to “our little brother Aaron Carter”.
The Backstreet Boys then performed harmonies for the opening notes of their 2019 musical, “Breathe”. After wiping away the tears, Nick Carter garnered applause and applause from the audience.
Nick Carter previously honored his younger brother on Instagram by posting childhood photos of them jogging in the woods, jogging by the sea, and hugging.
“My heart is broken,” he wrote. “Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never waned. I always held on to the hope that he would someday walk down a healthier path and eventually find the help he desperately needed.”
On Monday, the Backstreet Boys shared an Instagram tribute. In his post, titled simply “RIP”, the bandmates posed with Aaron Carter, who was standing by after his old trouble. The group’s account also shared Nick Carter’s post on its Instagram story.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department noted Saturday that officers were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Aaron Carter, after receiving a name from a domestic sitter who found him unresponsive in a tub.
The brothers’ relationship was strained which included serious accusations and restraining orders against each other. Aaron Carter was also open about living with mental health conditions and substance abuse. In September, she checked herself into rehab for the fifth time, hoping to regain custody of her 10-month-old son, Prince.
In his Instagram post, Nick Carter wrote, “The truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here.
“I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you thing Now you can finally find the peace you never got here on earth…. I love you baby brother,” he mentioned.
