Jaylen Brown scored 30 points, Jason Tatum added 26, and the Boston Celtics scored a franchise-record 27 3-pointers in a 133-118 win over the New York Knicks on Saturday night.
Brown and Tatum are linked on six 3-pointers each, while reserve guard Sam Hauser posted career highs with 16 points and five 3-pointers. Malcolm Brogdon scored 14 points.
Boston scored 13 for 27 from long distance in the first half and then made 14 for 24 in the last two quarters.
“We’ve got a really good team that can really shoot the ball,” Brown said. “When we give each other the right space and we go on like tonight, a lot of shots can fall.”
