“Seesaw Monster” will star Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek Pinault as the girl and mother-in-law, respectively. Hayek Pinault is also producing the film through her Ventanarossa Productions banner. Additional producers include Akiva Goldsman and Gregory Lessons for Weed Road Pictures, Anne Hathaway for Somewhere Pictures, and “Bullet Train” producers Ryosuke Sagusa and Yuma Terada for CTB Inc. Jose Tamez and Siobhan Flynn may also produce for Ventanarossa Productions, Adam Schulman and. Sarkar will produce along with Jonathan Rice, Olivia Milch for Somewhere Pictures.
Although no director has been named as of this initial publication, Olivia Milch may also adapt Kotaro Isaka’s e-book and serve as screenwriter. Milch is considered for her work as co-writer of the women-led motion comedy “Ocean’s Eight” and the upcoming “Queen and Country” with Ridley Scott reportedly involved in directing.
