TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Former Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee will face Democratic nominee and former Sarasota journalist Alan Cohn in the race to represent Florida’s 15th Congressional District in the US House of Representatives.
Whoever wins will be the first to win the election for the newly-reconstructed U.S. House District 15 in Florida thanks to a reparations process modeled after Congress’s map. The state’s congressional districts have been redrawn for both the Union and the Florida Legislature.
