An official synopsis for “The Acolyte” has been launched, along with brand new Solid members. Read the synopsis below.
“The Acolyte” is a mystery-thriller that can transport viewers into the final days of the High Republic era, into a galaxy of obscure secrets and techniques and rising Dark-side powers. A former Padawan reunites with his Jedi Master to analyze a series of crimes, though the forces they face are far more sinister than they expected.
The new solid members will probably become members within the collection including Amandla Stenberg (“The Hate You Give”), Jodi Smith-Turner (“Queen and Slim”), and Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”), members of the High Republic. Provides you with the rise of dark powers in full force in the last days. Hedland describes the collection as being from the “bad guys” angle, so it could be a handful of Sith as they break free from the teachings of the Jedi, which seems like a pleasant and daring new one. Deal with the franchise. With so many skilled cast members and a novel concept for a new story, this might be the “Star Wars” collection to beat.
‘The Acolyte’ will stream on Disney+. There is no launch date but has been introduced.
