Damage CTRL def. Alexa Bliss and Asuka to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Only 5 days after defeating Damage CTRL to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Alexa Bliss and Asuka took the gold to the road against the previous titleholders.
As Asuka was on the top rope, Kai and Skye took advantage, ambushing The Empress of Tomorrow, crashing her to the mat, and leaving her holding her knee in pain.
Flying alone for a while, Bliss takes the problem well, dominating Skye and Kai. A Code Raid from Bliss to Sky virtually won, although Skye kicked out.
As Bliss was precariously positioned on the top rope and was about to be superplexed by Kai and Skye, Asuka regained her bearings, came to the aid of her colleague and delivered a large superplex.
Asuka survived a brutal kick from Kai, and Bliss attempted a twisted Bliss, although Skye provided a distraction that gave Kai enough time to keep his knees up and drive him into the midsection of Hawaii Bliss.
As the devastation progressed, Nikki Cross appeared out of nowhere to hit a fisherman’s neckbreaker over the highest rope, allowing Kai to pin Bliss and damage CTRL as a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion .
